On each Episode page, there will be a countdown timer showing how long until the broadcast begins. At that time, the audio should begin playing automatically. If not, refresh your browser page.  

Which browser works best with this site?

Our users report the best experience with Firefox (1st choice), Internet Explorer and Safari.  

Note that Chrome tends to suppress the chat room and comment sections as "unsafe content."  To fix this issue, look for these icons in the upper right corner of the page and simply click on the Sheild to allow the page content.

  Other helpful hints:
   •    You should clear the cache of your browser every few days (it makes a lot of things work better). If necessary, do a Google search for how to clear the cache on your particular browser.  
   •    Make sure your Adobe flash player is updated to the latest version
 

 
Go to the Home page and click on the desired episode in Today's Shows, then scroll to the bottom of the page to find the player. The player will start automatically.If desired, you can "Pause" the player and listen over the phone by calling the number below the Player. 

You can move the progress indicator (a) to the desired setting while listening to an archived episode on the Awakening Zone. Or, to play on your computer, MP3 player or other device, simply download the file to your computer.  This is done by clicking on the button titled "DOWNLOAD EPISODE" (b).            DOWNLOADING:  
On a PC: You will be asked to Save File to your computer.  You can give it the appropriate name and location on your computer.   
On a Mac: The download will begin automatically.  You can go to your download folder and give it the appropriate name there.  Then, you may listen again and again, stop and start with more accuracy, with the player on your computer, and even move the file to an MP3 player of your choosing.

1)    Safari will not allow you to download MP3 files to your iPad directly.  However, you may download the episodes to your Macintosh computer.  Open them with iTunes and then sync the files from your Mactinosh computer to your iPad.

2)    It is possible to download and listen to archived episodes from the Awakening Zone if you use the suggested free Apps below on your iPad or iPod.


Dolphin Browser HD  (Dolphin Browser for iPhone and iPod touch)
iOS 4.0 or later: iPad

Dolphin is a nice browser that can download from website links.  It can download zip files but has to pass them to iUnarchive to extract the archive.

Tap and hold on a link. Select "Save Link" from the pop-up window to download a file.


iUnarchive Lite
iOS 4.0 or later: iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad

A nice zip archive extractor.


iDownloader Pro Free - Universal Multifunction Download Manager
iOS 4.1 or later: iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad

iDownloader will work as a browser but does not correctly render the horizontal menus on the CC website. It is ideal for downloading media and zip files. It will extract a zip archive.

Tap and hold on a link. Select "Download" from the pop-up window to download a file.

Also, you can tap and hold in other apps like Mail to copy a link and then paste the link into iDownloader to download a file.

Look just above the Chat Room for the call-in number, and call in using your telephone or Skype account.   
OR
Login to the Chat Room and type your question there. A host will be monitoring the Chat Room for questions. 

 
You can simply copy the Show or Episode page link and email it to them. 
OR 
Look for the Share button on the player at the bottom of each Episode page. 

 
Review our hosts and show topics and decide which program is a good fit for you, and be sure to write a thorough description of what makes you a good guest for that program. Then, at the top of any Awakening Zone page, click on the "COMMUNITY" link. Log in (you'll need to create an account to access the Community page), and click on the "HOSTS" tab. There you will find the contact information for the host(s) of your choice.
